Hiljem... Loen Anne Franki päevikut ja see on hämmastav, kuidas ta neljateistkümne aastasena nõnda kirjutas:
Anne Franki päevik; lk 203-205; tõlge: Tänapäev: 2003.

Ja veel. Ühest 2009. aasta intervjuust Eva Schlossiga, kuupäevaks 12. juuni. Intervjueerija küsib Evalt (sedapuhku kõik inglise keeles):
You just celebrated your eightieth birthday, Anne will be eighty on friday, or she would have been.
How do you think she would have celebrated.

Well, what she would have done, you know, people ask me whould she have become a writer or what...? Well, of course we'll never know. But I think: she was a fighter, she would have gone into politics,Viite võib leida siit - Auschwitz survivor Eva Schloss talks about her relationship with Anne Frank (Part 2).
she would have tried to make a mark on the world. Didn't have necessarily been through writing, but...
of course we'll never know what she would have made out of her life, but... she was... it's a pity.
But on the other hand, like you say, you know, the diary might have never been published and the great work of art of literature would have been lost.
